our story

We met in 2017 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Melody was living in the UAE for 10 months and Garvin for 6 months. We connected immediately through our love for travel, exploration, & both being Caribbean-American. We have been inseparable for 4 years, and grew more in love during the 2020 Covid-19 lock down when we began unexpectedly living together. About a year and a half later, we got engaged on Christmas day 2020; a year after that we had small socially distanced ceremony with friends on Christmas Eve 2021. In 2022, we finally decided to share our stories, & travel tips with the world after 5 years of adventuring together & solo.
